About ECMark
Why ECMark exists
Spending over a decade doing tube inspections in oil & gas and petrochemical plants, the decision on what mapping software to use always becomes a consideration at some point. Every other set of mapping and reporting tools on the market are sold by the same companies that make the equipment.
That creates a subtle but real problem if you don’t buy into a specific ecosystem or use equipment from multiple different manufactures. You have two choices:
- Use multiple tools, which can lead to inconsistent reports
- Use one manufactures tool for everything and deal with potential headaches of software that is less and less compatible with your workflow
Yes, you can use those tools with other vendors’ data — but it’s never quite as smooth, never quite as supported, and every update breaks something for you, requires a new work around or pulls you a little further into one manufacturer’s ecosystem. Over time, your workflows, your templates, and your reports are shaped by choices that weren’t really yours to make.
ECMark was built as an alternative. Independent, and not affiliated with any equipment manufacturer — so the tool works for the inspector, not the other way around.
What ECMark is
ECMark is a mapping and reporting platform for industrial tube inspections. It’s designed to take inspection data from common formats and produce consistent, professional tubesheet maps and reports — regardless of what equipment was used in the field.
Built for inspectors who want control over their own deliverables.
What we’re building toward
Accurate, traceable, hardware-independent reporting as the standard for industrial tube inspection — not the exception.
